deer and woodchucks

early bird, looking for peppers maybe?

walking through the yard- first time I saw her in the yard

moved the camera to the deck, NEXT to the shed. put it right on the ground, hoping no one would walk off with it. The animals LOVED it. This post, and the next one... you'll see
northern flicker.

you'd think it was a yard gnome or statue- nope. it's Woodie.

deer and coyote, sharing a space

oh deer

oh possum

oh Coyote?
notice how long it takes for the set of eyes (upper, eft) to develop into an animal

a coyote comes walking by, not noticing the camera of course.

little while later, a deer comes by, very clearly noticing the camera.

a few more hours later, it's just walking by, sniffing about

raccoons, foxes, woodchucks, bats, and other mysteries

here we have Woodie eating in the yard

and here, watch in the left corner, on the deck, a cardinal and a chipmunk exchange places and flit about.

there is a raccoon here, going stage left

here, it's going stage right

check it out- that white flying light. I think it's a bat.

just when I thought I had one mystery to solve... I actually had two. Were these cat ears? Dog ears? Fox ears? what do you think? (look bottom right)

Sure enough, later, a fox, sniffing the chicken coop (no chickens here pal)
