(Mama) deer and her (baby) deer

THIS may be the best video I've gotten, YET
it deserves it's own post.. It's been over a week- I couldn't wait any longer.
I"ll also repost the photo I think I took of a pregnant mama- below. what do you think?
A deer's gestation period is 200 to 205 days, most of the fawns being born in the latter part of May or the first part of June... and, the baby deer weighs only 4-5 pounds.

didn't know it at the time, but, she sure does look wide in the middle.

can we say deer?

it's DEFINITELY the deer show... too bad I never see them with my own eyes in the yard.
I would have no idea I had so much deer action. I should switch back to video, perhaps.

check out the eye lashes

I think this is so eerie.

interesting pluff of fur on the back... helped me identify this is as the same deer all night long.

fox, deer, (more) possum, and more deer

deer legs.

mama possum

curious fox-   wait for it-   it's a full 30 second video.

a Deer, at 3:08 in the afternoon- notice, for future comparisons, this one has little horns. I think we're calling them antlers these days, though.

-----

I think this is the teenager possum, in the video

squirrel hanging out

You might think these next two are the same photo... but, check the time stamp. It must be the same deer, just, walking by. Early in the morning, and late the same night.

deer, walking by in the morning, the 11th

walking by in the evening, same day

two raccoons hanging out.

grey cat came to visit
(he/she was in previous posts)

old friend(s) came back

new angle, and a new (old) friend came back... but, you would think this small decking was a 'cat walk' the way these critters just keep walking back and forth. can you follow the difference between the two possums? I'm convinced it's more than one, looking at tail color and belly size. I think the cutie who scratches his head is the teenager, like, just rolling out of bed.

tail less Raccoon came back.
(Shall I name him Bob?)
(He's so large, thus the male gender I assigned (as if I can do that), and I think the hurt back left foot raccoon from the previous posts is smaller, so I think that's the female. I hope she's okay)

make this one large:

is this mama possum? they're so funny looking, once you look at them so many times in a row.  (I'm sure they'd say the same thing about us)

another possum (I guess from a couple days ago.. oops)
-----

and lastly, look up to the top right- see who's walking by?

Skunk and possum

I figured one more in this location, and then I would move the camera... and just LOOK at who came by. I even just thought to myself that I hadn't seen one of these yet.
AND< I thought this morning, as I walked to the car, you, know, the yard smells kinda funny.

that was my first skunk sighting

peek to the right, top corner

peek to the top left corner

then of course the possum came by

Opossum overnight, bird squirrel 'munk again

Eating the chicken bones I left out...
a little bright, and slightly creepy since you can't really see it, but, you know who it is.

then, the squirrels came in to cleanup ..

and a bird, too

then, back to the chipmunks.  I'll let you see a video this time. I think this is a different one from the day before. Seems smaller, and possibly cuter.

Chipmunk(s)

Today was the chipmunk show,  for certain.

then, I'm just giving you screenshots of the videos.. but, look at how many times that Chippy fella came back. (For the apples and strawberries.)
